This Is My Church (Maxi Jazz)

Following the passing of Maxi Jazz, I wanted to create something that celebrated not only his extraordinary voice, but the impact Faithless had on an entire generation.

Their music was more than something to dance to—it became the soundtrack to unforgettable nights, lifelong friendships and moments that still resonate decades later. This Is My Church pays tribute to that legacy through colour, atmosphere and layered digital art, celebrating an artist whose words connected with so many people.

Looking back, this artwork also represents an important step in my own creative journey. Building on techniques I explored in Firestarter, it reflects a growing confidence in composition, colour and storytelling, helping shape the artistic style that continues to evolve today.

For many people, Faithless wasn’t simply a band. It was a feeling. This artwork is my way of saying thank you.
