Authenticity & Limited Editions

Last Updated: August 2026

Created to be Collected

Every artwork released by Neil Pengelly Studios is created with collectors in mind.

Whether inspired by music, film, motorsport, popular culture or personal memories, each piece is designed to reward closer inspection through hidden references, layered storytelling and contemporary digital artistry.

Our aim is to create artwork that you’ll enjoy discovering again and again.

Limited Edition Prints

Unless otherwise stated, all Fine Art Giclée prints are released as limited editions.

Each edition is produced in a strictly controlled quantity to help preserve its exclusivity and collectability.

Once an edition has closed, it will not normally be reproduced in the same format or edition size.

Numbered & Signed

Where stated, every limited edition print is individually hand signed and numbered by Neil Pengelly.

Edition numbers are allocated as orders are fulfilled and cannot usually be requested in advance, although it never hurts to ask!

Museum-Quality Printing

Our Fine Art Giclée prints are professionally produced using archival-quality inks and premium fine art papers. Canvas prints also use the same inks to ensure lightfastness,

This process is widely recognised for its exceptional colour accuracy, sharp detail and long-term durability, making it the preferred printing method for artists, galleries and collectors worldwide.

Certificates of Authenticity

Where applicable, limited edition prints are supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity confirming:

  • Artwork title
  • Artist name
  • Edition size
  • Edition number
  • Date of issue (where applicable)

The certificate helps verify the authenticity and provenance of your artwork.

Original Artwork

Original artworks are unique creations.

Once sold, they will not be recreated as original works.

Where prints are produced from original artwork, this will always be clearly stated within the product description.

Closing an Edition

Neil Pengelly Studios reserves the right to close a limited edition before the advertised edition size has been reached.

This decision may be made for artistic, commercial or curatorial reasons.

If an edition is closed early, it will remain permanently closed, increasing the rarity of prints already in circulation.

Caring for Your Artwork

To help preserve your artwork for many years:

  • Display away from prolonged direct sunlight.
  • Avoid excessive heat or humidity.
  • Frame using archival-quality materials where possible.
  • Handle prints with clean, dry hands.

Following these simple recommendations will help maintain the appearance and longevity of your artwork.

Copyright

Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright ownership.

All artwork remains the intellectual property of Neil Pengelly.

Artwork may not be copied, reproduced, scanned, published or used commercially without prior written permission.
